THE GAZETTE EN MTV 81.ENTREVISTA EN ESPAÑOL

Entrevista Original Inglés:

- What made you guys want to become musicians?-

URUHA:I also started playing the guitar because i admired Luna Sea.
I was playing guitar and listening to Luna Sea all the time. So definitery them, for sure.
KAI: Luna Sea was the first ban i ever saw.
That was the gateway.
At that point music equalled "Visual Kei" to me.
And it happened to become my entryway to this industry.
AOI: It was X Japan for me.

- What would you say is the main appeal of your gigs?-

RUKI: You can make noise. You can soak in the music. You can  make friends.
We, the audience and the band, motivate each other.
REITA: Normally the boys and girls in our audience are good kids.
But during the show, they become so cool you can´t even tell what gender they are.

- It seems like there wasn´t much off-time in between albums this time aroud..

RUKI: Our previous album was called "TOXIC".
We made the album and did a our,but we still felt there was some thing more we could do. So we started on our next album.

- We heard that some of you are into dub step. Is that true?

KAI: This time we come up with the idea that it might sound good if we combined that sort of music whit our band's sound.

- You've worked with dance music producer Teddy Loid before. How did that come about?

RUKI: Our relations ship with Teddy started. We made a single called "VORTEX" and that's when it began.
We only asked him to do scratchin ar first, because he was busy with his own project.
We wanted to make our sound quality better.
I asked him to brush up oup sound.
And the he also astarted doing some arragements for us. That's how it went.

- You include a lot of English lirycs in your songs. Any reason behind that?-

RUKI: When we want to make something sound more obscure.
Also, when we want to say something directly but there isn't a japanesse word with exact meaning we want,we sing in English.
And when more can be expressed in japanesse so there is no special meaning behin it although it seems like there might be one.

- So how do the gigs live up to the album? Our is it the other way around...

RUKI: I think the image you get from listening to the album is different from the one you get when seeing us perform live.
I think it would be more rough.
Compared to the album which is done up so clean.
AOI: I think it's more real.
And you can also enjoy it visually as there are some videos.
It's different from the album.

RUKI: Puede hacer ruido. Puede sumergirse en la música. Puedes hacer amigos.
